The compound which consists of a 12,000 square foot main house with additional buildings for entertaining rests on 16 acres in the rolling hills of Northern California. There is a separate barn, art studio, pool house and guest suites. The design team was not only responsible for the interior architecture and decoration, but also the exterior finishes which included antique roof tiles imported from Tuscany. The clients entertain frequently and requested a warm, welcoming atmosphere for both large and small gatherings. The rustic architectural details give this grand home the warmth and inviting atmosphere the clients desired.
